□ Korea Eximbank (www.koreaexim.go.kr, Chairman Yong Hwan Kim) announced that Executive Director Ki-Sub Nam was appointed to the Board of Directors on August 25.

* Upon the recommendation of the Chairman, the Minister of Strategy and Finance appoints new members to the Board of Directors.

□ Mr. Ki-Sub Nam previously served in major positions such as Director General of the Credit Policy Department, Director General of the Human Resources Department, and Director General of the Secretary Office. Since his appointment as Executive Director in July 2009, he has contributed to the development of Korea Eximbank as a leading green export financing institute and establishment of the Action Plan for the Promotion of Green Industry Export.

○ Mr. Nam obtained a bachelor’s degree in economics at Seoul National University, Korea and a master’s degree in economics at Vanderbilt University in the US.

○ He will also be assuming the position of Planning and Coordination Group Executive Director. He plans to integrate the capacities of Korea Eximbank and focus them on the successful establishment of new businesses including financial arrangements, advisory services, and investments.
