Date 2012.10.30 View 27767
The Export-Import Bank of Korea (www.koreaexim.go.kr, Chairman Yong Hwan Kim, “ Korea Eximbank”) announced on October 3 that it will hold a seminar on PF risk evaluation presented by S&P for Korean companies and financial institutions interested in overseas Project Finance on November 1, 3pm, in the main conference room on the 5th floor of the bank’s Yeouido headquarter.

The purpose of the seminar is to familiarize Korean companies to the method of making investment decisions pertaining to overseas PF and offer Korean commercial banks a guideline for evaluating PF loans, through an introduction to the methodology for analyzing the risk of overseas PF deals.

S&P has many years of experience evaluating the risks of various overseas PF deals involving international organizations and global funds.

Ian Greer, the speaker for the seminar, is the Analytical Manager for Standard & Poor’s Rating Services’ Asia-Pacific Infrastructure Ratings Team and Chairman of the International Project Finance Association’s Australia branch.

Admission to the seminar is free, but participants need to register in advance by contacting the Plant Finance Department at Korea Eximbank (+82-2-3779-6375).

Korea Eximbank is also planning to hold a ‘Mock PF Deal Negotiation Seminar’ presented by the global law firm Norton Rose in early December.
