The Export-Import Bank of Korea(www.koreaexim.go.kr, Chairman Kim Yong-hwan, “Korea Eximbank”) announced on August 14 that the bank has donated KRW 35 million to help fund a ‘Financial Education Musical’ and an ‘Economics and Finance Class’ for multicultural children through the bank’s social responsibility program ‘Seed of Hope’. Chairman Kim of Korea Eximbank has handed the donation to officials of the Financial Quotient Council at Korea Eximbank’s Headquarters, where about 300 children watched the Financial Education Musical.
Additionally, Korea Eximbank plans to hold ‘Economics and Finance Classes with Korea Eximbank Seed of Hope’ from September until the end of the year for about 300 children in ten Multicultural Family Support Centers around the nation.
Korea Eximbank has been actively involved in helping the underprivileged in Korean society including multicultural families and resettled North Koreans with profits earned from providing loans to large companies.
