The Export-Import Bank of Korea (www.koreaexim.go.kr, Chairman Kim Yong-hwan, “Korea Eximbank”) announced on September 12 that it has conducted community service at the “Warm Chae Woom Shelter” near Seoul station, serving lunch to 300 homeless people.
To celebrate the approaching Chuseok holiday, 30 volunteers from Korea Eximbank, including Chairman Kim Yong-hwan, joined the Seoul Homeless Welfare Facilities Association to serve food, wash dishes, and do some cleaning at the shelter.
The Korea Eximbank volunteers shared the warmth of Chuseok by delivering donations of KRW 10 million for homeless people needing winter clothes along with 100 20-kilogram rice sacks to the Seoul Homeless Welfare Facilities Association.
