The Export-Import Bank of Korea (www.koreaexim.go.kr, Chairman Lee Duk-hoon, “KoreaEximbank”) announced on April 30 that the Bank opened a new Representative Office in Istanbul, Turkey. .
The opening ceremony of the Istanbul Representative Office was attended by some 70 officials including Korea Eximbank Chairman Lee Duk-hoon, Korean Ambassador to Turky Lee Sang-kyu, Istanbul Vice Governor Kazim Tekin, and Turkey Eximbank Deputy General Manager Mustafa Ertan Tanriykul.
The Representative Office will actively support local operations of Korean companies and their efforts to secure local orders, including by making financial arrangements for export-import transactions and overseas investments.
