Korea Eximbank (www.koreaexim.go.kr Chairman Dongsoo Kim) announced on December 29 that Director Seop Shim of the EDCF Operations Department has been appointed the new executive director.

The newly appointed executive director of Korea Eximbank has previously served in important posts including the Director of EDCF Operations Department, Director of Green Finance Department, and Director of Industry and Overseas Investment Research Office. He is an expert in EDCF (Economic Development Cooperation Fund) and new growth finance and has played a leading role in building a foundation for overseas expansion efforts of Korean enterprises. In his new post, Shim will be heading the Economic Cooperation Department Head Office.

Shim received a bachelor's degree in economics from Seoul National University and a master's degree in economics from Vanderbilt University, USA.
